Kakariko Village sits at the base of Eldin Volcano. Travelers who wish to climb the volcano are advised to make preparations at Kakariko Village before beginning their ascent.

Excuse me, young miss, would you mind listening to an old man's tale of heartbreak? You see, I can't find my cat anywhere. She's often with the other cats in town - I wish I had a way to ask them if they've seen her! Ah, if only I had suit of cat clothes for moments like this...
[You are a young woman who just bought the cat suit.] Hm? Oh, yes, I just bought a set of cat clothes. I mean, they let you talk to cats! How could I not buy them on the spot?! What I plain forgot is that anytime I get close to a cat, I bust out sneezing!
[You are a female child and Princess Zelda approaches you.] (Friendly) Hiii! I'm still waiting for the swordsman to come back. He said he'd play with me!
