Raku Ichijō (一条 楽, Ichijō Raku) is the main male protagonist of the Nisekoi series that is written and illustrated by Naoshi Komi. He serves as the fake boyfriend of Chitoge Kirisaki for the next three years of his life to prevent a war between the Bee Hive Gang and the Shūei Clan. He is Chitoge's main love interest and becomes her husband at the end of the manga.


Raku is a kind-hearted boy who, at times, lets his temper get the best of him and says things he may regret later on. He tends to get roped into things he may not particularly enjoy but does anyway. He values his friends very much, tries to help whenever he can, and is very dense.

  • Raku: (Irritated, raises his voice a bit to Chitoge) You nailed me with your knee in the courtyard, remember?

  • Raku: (Thinking to himself very dream-like as he blushes) Whoa, Onodera's so close. Maybe this injury isn't so bad after all...

  • Raku: (Sarcastic and cold as he talks about Chitoge) She turns more ape-like by the second.
    Raku: (Chitoge hears him and starts throwing barrels at him, to which he starts screaming) KyAA! Woah.... uh... AH!
