(Stina is 12 or 13, it was never mentioned specifically.) Stina is your average mean girl, complete with the frilly hair, sassy attitude and snarky, unnecessary comments. She's always going out of her way to make Sophie's reputation at Foxfire Academy miserable--that is, when she's not trying to one-up her every chance she gets. She believes that Sophie is a freak whose only purpose is trouble and disaster. But Sophie will not allow Stina to get her way.
(Snarky, stuck-up) "Oh look who it is; the freak-show. Are you here to burn yet another place down? I wouldn't be surprised."
(Overdramatic, whiny) "Ow! She hurt me! Doesn't that make her disqualified?"
(Sassy, amused) *laughs* "I take it back. She won't last six weeks here before they send her to Exillium."
