The Nikto are a humanoid species that originates from the planet Kintan in the Si'Klaata Cluster. The Nikto are split into five distinct sub-species that all originated from a dying star's massive swell of radiation. They are divided into three sub-species and are often found in the galaxy as bounty hunters, assassins, and enforcers for the various crime lord syndicates such as the Hutts. However, many can also be found in service to the Jedi order. In Starwind, they mainly serve as criminals and gangsters.

They often take the roles of pirates, smugglers, and gangsters for the Hutt Cartel.
