From a young age, she showed a natural talent for singing and dancing, and her parents nurtured her passion by enrolling her in vocal and dance classes. Yumi's parents were supportive of her dreams of becoming a K-pop idol, and they encouraged her to audition for various entertainment agencies.
After successfully getting into a group, she meet the love of her life Ae-ri.
