Megpoid (model unknown), codename Hakase, is the reason why Shine is able to be an idol. No information is known about her, other than the fact that she works as a doctor. Hakase is this comic's very own "Mad Hatter"-esque character.

She has a very eccentric, dramatic way of speaking. Medium pitch. She fits the stereotype of "insane scientist" to a tee. Hakase uses big words and complicated terms in her speech, and seems to view Vocaloids as potential projects, not people. Her personality can change on a whim, going from doting and caring to deadly scary in a second.

Trust me, l've tried! It's quite a hard failsafe to get around.”
