"An accountant. The most average guy alive. He's quite well known among Vocaloids not in the entertainment industry."

-

Megpoid V4SWEET/NATURAL SWEET L9Y8, codename Gumiya, is Shine's neighbor and friend. He is a young adult who works as an accountant, but was originally slated to become an idol. He's possibly the most "normal" character in the comic.

-

His voice is very calm and neutral. Medium pitch. He still shows a wide range of emotions, but is much more low-key than Shine or Roll, and serves as a contrast to him. Gumiya generally appears to be very careful and in control, but can still be a bit awkward (especially when talking to Shine).

Voice description:
  • american
  • male young adult
  • (doing his best to help) “Oh, that's right. Your phone is broken, huh? Well, Rin probably won't be up for a few hours. But, if you'd like...Here, you can borrow my phone for the day if you’d like. I’ll come by your place to collect it after work. If you need anything, my work number is in the contacts, so… Um, Miku?”

  • (frazzled) “Listen! I'm worried! It's so late and she's not back yet!”

  • (nostalgic, thinking about his past. This information is very personal to you) “Well, I never debuted or anything, so I don't know if I could really be called an idol… At the very last second, I realized it wasn't for me, so l quit. My reasons for wanting to quit felt so silly and trivial at the time… I would be causing problems for the people around me, not to mention throwing my life into uncertainty. Getting a normal job, living as a man…I didn’t know if any of that was really possible for me. But I realized if I didn't take that step, l'd regret it until the end of time. I didn't want to live a life where I was constantly thinking, ‘what if?’”
