Superman: Champion of the Oppressed || MOTION COMIC
Dylan Nguyen for Jonathan Kent
Jonathan Kent is Superman's adoptive human father. If you know anything about Superman, then you know how vital Pa Kent is to Superman's character. You also know that what happens to Jonathan is a driving force for Superman's sense of morality and his strive to be an embodiment of good. We're going to honor Jonathan Kent and stay true to his role in Superman's life, but we're going to take a small creative liberty with how he rolls out of the story. And before you ask, no. He will not be walking into a tornado.. Looking at you, "Man of Steel."
I've always felt Harrison Ford sounds a lot like what I'd imagine Jonathan would sound like.
"You are not just anyone. One day, you're going to have to make a choice. You have to decide what kind of man you want to grow up to be. Whoever that man is, good or bad, it's going to change the world."
"You can quit if you want, but remember.. quitting is a hard habit to break."
