Miriam is the school nurse of Naranja Academy. Before working at the academy, she was employed at a Pokémon Center. Miriam wished to become a health instructor, but failed the certification test. With some encouragement from the protagonist, Miriam attempts the test again, and passes, earning herself a teaching spot for a future school year. She is a sweet woman who only wishes to help and heal others.
