To ensure that our characters are portrayed with authenticity and respect, we request that roles written with specific cultural or ethnic backgrounds be represented by actors who share those backgrounds. We believe this approach honors the integrity of each character's story and lived experience.
We intentionally left specific dialogue open for these characters, inviting actors to bring their authentic voices and experiences to the role. This creative space allows each actor's unique perspective to shape the character in a genuine way, steering clear of stereotypes or caricatures.
