A young adult who for all intents and purposes experiences life in VRChat – 5 senses and all – through The Smile Program’s innovative technology which is now integrated with her physical body that is unable to move. They struggle with a persisting loneliness, self-hatred, and their sense of self-worth. Unable to act on their suicidal desires, their cynical view of the world has only darkened, and the small hopes they have of making friends are repeatedly crushed with each new interaction. The feeling of worthlessness resulting from being rejected by both her family and strangers manifests as different versions or parts of Kayori emphasizing the negative emotions, effectively becoming their own bully.
