Ortega is a student at Naranja Academy, and one of the bosses of Team Star. He specializes in Fairy-types. Ortega is a short-tempered, wealthy kid that has a talent for engineering, having built all of Team Star's Starmobiles himself. Despite coming from a rich family with a lot of influence in Paldea, Ortega experienced a lot of bullying when he started school. He has a bit of a whiney, bratty personality (influenced by his privileged lifestyle), but has a soft side deep down.

If I knew all that effort would have zero payout, I'd have just asked Mother to buy a car for us..."
