Role: Uri could be Kiran’s best friend or sister, someone who was once Kiran’s closest confidante. Her relationship with Kiran will add an emotional layer to the story, especially with the plague pushing them apart.  

Backstory:  

- Origin: Uri was Kiran’s childhood friend, or possibly her sister, before the plague struck. They shared everything growing up, from secrets to hopes for the future. Uri is more hopeful and idealistic than Kiran, believing that there’s always a way to fight against fate.  

- Connection to the Plague: Uri was once an innocent bystander who got caught up in the plague’s path. After becoming infected, she’s been fighting to keep her humanity, trying to find a cure even if it means putting herself at risk. She could be a secret ally to Kiran or even a rival in some sense, trying to find a way to defeat Lorne on her own terms.  

- Relationship with Kiran: Uri’s presence can be a source of both strength and tension. She wants to help Kiran, but because she’s still struggling with the plague, her ability to assist is limited. Kiran might have to choose between saving Uri or focusing on her mission to end the plague. Their relationship could be tested by betrayal, guilt, or the unbearable pressure of the circumstances.

Personality:  

- Uri is determined, optimistic, and a fighter—qualities that often put her at odds with Kiran’s more resigned, burdened nature. She’s headstrong and brave, sometimes to the point of recklessness. She doesn’t like relying on others and will often push Kiran to confront her own fears.  

Abilities:  

- Due to the plague’s curse, Uri has developed strange powers, like the ability to control and manipulate the decay around her. She can cause things to wither or break apart, but this power also carries a risk—it could consume her very soul if she’s not careful. She’s a tragic figure, always walking the fine line between saving others and succumbing to the plague.  

Visual Design:  

- Uri has a youthful and energetic appearance, with messy, dark hair and vibrant eyes. However, signs of the plague are beginning to take hold—perhaps her skin is starting to show signs of infection (like dark spots or veins), but she tries to hide it with makeup or clothing. Her attire could be a mix of practical and ragged, with armor or bandages over her body to protect herself.
