Sonic: Talk on the Moon
ARossoVA for Sonic
This is the storyboard we'll be animating: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BizK_TCK4fI
Think of this storyboard as a "what-if" in the Sonic 3 movie.
Try to imitate Ben Schwartz from the Sonic movie franchize. In this short Sonic is a bit more somber and reflective. He is at a low point and Amy is there to comfort and encourage him. In most Sonic media, he doesn't get the opportunity to really be sad and sincere, so when you record your audition, try to sound like yourself. You don't need try to "talk like Sonic", but instead, try to talk like a normal person who happens to sound like Sonic, if that makes sense... it probably doesn't
Here's a reference video you can use for Sonic: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NFw2A-UnBqo
You are free to experiment and submit multiple submissions for the same part.
Your mics need to be a good quality and all background noise needs to be removed from your audition. Auditions with poor sound quality or awful background noise will be immediately rejected. The ()'s in the lines are notes. They aren't actually part of the lines.

Is this suppose to be helpful?
Wow. I didn't expect to hear a whole Ted Talk
Frankly, I haven't really got one yet (a plan). But all I know is that they need us. You in (talking to Amy)
Hey Rosso. Thank you for auditioning. Unfortunately, the role has gone to another VA.
The main issue I noticed was that there were a lot of "aw's" in your audition and your voice sounded a bit too gravely for my idea of how Sonic sounded (though that's not necessarily your fault).
Thank you so much for wanting to contribute to my project. God bless, and I hope you enjoy your Christmas.
Thanks a lot for the feedback! Hope to see more from you and to be able to participate in any future projects.
Good luck and Happy Holidays!
