One of the members of the antagonistic group the Ascendants. He is the right hand man of the leader Luna and is always the one going out recruiting more people into the Ascension Network. He can be very theatrical and over the top as an antagonist, so it’s hard to tell whether his words are true or false.

Very expressive male voice. Very theatrical and playful to a point of near arrogance. He sounds like he always has a smile on his face — on the brink of a laughter — that it’s hard to tell if what he says is true or not. I’m looking for something more towards the ENG dub of Roland, but I am also very open to interpretation.

  • (Dramatic, playful) Wonder what my wish is? The end of the world, the ravages of the Punishing Virus, the suffering of all living souls on Earth... How do you like my answer? Is it in line with your perception of me?

  • (thoughtful, almost spiteful, and half playing into) Loyalty. What a good word! Stop thinking and follow the orders of others, letting them decide on what to do. Feels so easy. Oh? Don't give me that look! I was just missing a former "friend" of mine.

  • (trying to be sincere): To have a reason to live is a dream that hasn't changed for me. A play, the AscNet, they were the reasons others gave me. But now you ask me to give myself a reason? This is such a cruel thing... an honor for a jester.

Thank you for resubmissions! You did a good job in incorporating the feedback and fine tuning your skills with the audition to craft it more into what I was looking for for both performances, so nicely done!

Lee's scolding is even more intimidating and critical and it's well done, and the way you softened your voice in the second line was really good when contrasting to the first line. So good job with these!

I like that you retain the laughing before the lines for Roland. I think I also enjoyed how you did the third take of the first line with starting with a giggle and "So". These were good adds to the line which made the rest of it flow nicely. I also love how you gave two contrasting performances for the second line where the first take was more like you were laughing at the notion while the second take had that slight sense of bitterness and sarcasm. The second take for the final line brings a more serious ake to Roland which is exactly what I was hoping for with this line, and I'm glad that you added that little chuckle right before "This is such a cruel thing" to still bringing in that playful character of Roland into the more genuine line as that felt more in line with the character.

So nicely done with these! While casting won't be done until after next Monday, I do hope for a chance to work with you whether that is for this project or a future one. Best of luck with your future endeavors!
