I met Father Seraphim a year and a half before his death. Like him I had been seeking reality through Eastern religions but was reduced to despair.
Then one day Father Seraphim came to the college campus where I was studying.
He drove up in an old beat-up pickup truck, and emerged with his worn-out black robe, his long hair and his exceedingly long gray dreaded beard
