Deferred: Agreed Amount
Role assigned to: Robert Willem Lister

  • Occupation: Monk at the local Abbey.
  • Personality: Quiet, devout, and obedient, with a subtle air of mystery. Brother Ambrose is dedicated to his religious duties, often keeping to himself and following the guidance of the Abbot. His reserved nature makes him seem like a background character, but there are hints that he knows more about the strange events happening in the town and the Abbey’s connection to the occult. Though he tries to maintain a low profile, his silence and occasional cryptic remarks suggest he is aware of the darker undercurrents in the Abbey.
  • Role: Brother Ambrose plays a minor but suspicious role. He may act as a silent observer, keeping an eye on Charlie’s investigation without directly getting involved. While he doesn’t take a leadership role in the occult aspects of the case, his proximity to the Abbot and the secrets of the Abbey make him an enigmatic figure, possibly complicit in the cover-up or more involved in the rituals than initially believed. His presence adds to the mystery surrounding the Abbey’s involvement in the events.

    • (Smug and condescending) This is our collection, Mr Pembroke. Not even two shelves of books. We are a Christian Abbey, Mr Pembroke. We have books which go back to the 18th century because of the past of this wonderful building. But we do not encourage the reading of such blasphemous books nor do we allow access to them.

    • (angry) Abbot, books do not go missing here. They are not lost, miscategorised, misplaced or stolen. In my time here i have never misplaced any book. It must be here.
