  • (understanding) I know, that’s why I’m not fully giving him the pass…..But as a leader, I know I’d do the same thing as Chrome.

  • (thoughtful, almost spiteful) God said to love people and your enemies. If I can’t love the enemies because of the people I love…

Thank you for your auditions for Vera and Bianca! I appreciated listening to them and your takes on each of the characters.

I love the power in your voice that you offer for Bianca, and this is especially seen in your second and third lines for the audition. Your voice is very firm and that's a quality I feel is fitting for Bianca who serves as a leader, and the more casual approach to the first line offers the warmer underside of Bianca's character. I do feel like the second line however was lacking a bit in that spite/anger that I was hoping for in this line, and it feels more like you're speaking on another person's behalf than speaking from your own. I think in this case, the best way to handle and ensure you're delivering a more realistic performance is ensuring you understand or have an idea of how the scene is in your head. In this case, with the line, who was it that got hurt? How did they get hurt? Why is it making you doubt your own beliefs? Begin questioning yourself more of why things are being said in the line because that way you begin to have a better understanding of why the line is being said, and therefore, have a better mindset going into the performance.

For your Vera, I feel that it was a little too casual for my liking. As I have mentioned in the character description, I was hoping for a more taunting personality and voice for her character. Think of a predator toying around with its prey -- her personality and voice should also mirror this quality, and I found that that was lacking in your performance. Have a little more fun and loosen up with the performance. Don't be afraid to go all out and be playful with the performance!

If you'd like, you're welcome to resubmit your performances with all the feedback I have in mind, but if not, thank you so much for your time and effort into the project, and I hope to work with you soon!

Thank you so much for your feedback!! As a beginner I truly appreciate it and believe it’s necessary to further improve my skills :D I’d absolutely love to resubmit an audition! Do you prefer for me to keep the original ones posted and submit a second or would you rather me remove the original auditions when I resubmit the new ones?

Please keep the original one here as that helps me compare between your submissions once you provide the new submission, but thank you for check-in in about that!

No Problem! New submissions should be up now :D
