For this role, you may be asked to play as Kamui as well. I’d love to hear an audition of both characters if you are interested!

An alter ego that awakens when Kamui gets infected by the Punishing Virus. He’s a minor role within this and acts a bit like a rival/antagonist to Kamui during this time, both putting Kamui down but also helping Kamui fight the virus within him.

Mid to low male voice. With everything he’s gone through, you’re aiming for someone who’s bitter towards the world and filled with nothing but hatred towards it. He is capable of lightening up, but there’s still that skepticism in his voice. Both the ENG and CN are good references for what I’m aiming for, but open to interpretation!

For this project, he will have a minor role. However, if the project continues, he has the potential to be a more major role.

Voice description:
  • male young adult
  • (Quieter, void of the usual anger that you feel, a hint of fondness as he speaks) Kamui…I’ll treat him just like I did before. Don’t worry.

  • (Amused/slightly mocking) “Commandant?” That’s what I should be calling you? How silly.

  • (All consuming anger) I’ll destroy all there is to hate!

Thanks for your audition as Camu in the project! Hearing your adlibs between the "Hmm..." in the first line's second take and the laughs for the second lines were really fun to hear! I also heard you take in a deep breath and hiss a bit before jumping into the angry final lines which is a really good technique to use to help build up that anger !

A few things I would like to note: I do feel that the angry lines could have been angrier. You know those scenes where someone is trying to get their revenge and they finally confront the person that's been the target of all their hatred? That level of anger and hatred is something I was hoping for with this line. I think what also could help is making use of your diaphragm in order to project your voice to get that angrier, more powerful voice for that line!

Aside from that your delivery was good. If you're interested, I would love to see you give it another try but changing your pitch to something slighly lower (like as naturally low as you can go without it sounding forced). But if not, thank you so much for your work and effort! I hope we can work together soon.

Thanks for the feedback! It is greatly appreciated! I'll provide another audition when I can with your notes in mind.
