Operation: PGR Fandub Project
JuniperVO for Alpha
For this role, you may be asked to play as Lucia as well. I’d love to hear an audition of both characters if you are interested!
A mysterious figure who is part of the antagonist group called the Ascension Network. She has an apparent past and connection with Lucia, but little is known about her.
This will be a very minor role with her appearing mainly in the prologue. Mid range voice and quiet but threatening/powerful when she does speak. English is a good reference for her.
For this project, she will have a minor role. However, if the project continues, she has the potential to be a more major role.

(threatening) Your pain receptors are cut off…? How pitiable. But your sorrows will end here….Lucia.
(pitiful) Humans…Always like this.
(threatening) Well then, open your eyes and see the humans for who they really are through your precious “Commandant”.
Oh! Forgot to mention that I'm open to feedback as well :)
Thank you so much for your interest in the project! I really liked your take for Alpha, especially the mocking laugh you do in the final line when you start with "Well then!" That was a good add to bring liveliness into your performance. I also enjoy the more bored take you had for the first lines, as though you were already done with the enemy before they even began to attack. It's a good direction and I enjoyed seeing that!
However, while yes I did enjoy the more bored performance, I feel like it was lacking a bit in the threatening tone. What I wanted was something more in line with a snarl or scoffing with the first line, like you're laughing at just how stupid your enemy is being while holding a knife to their throat. I also felt that the second line's deliveries were too similar to one another to see any difference. One trick I try to use with ensuring different takes of lines is stressing different words because stressing different words could convey different meanings in what you say.
Besides that, your performance was nicely done! It's just matters of tweaking a bit of delivery/direction. Feel free to resubmit with what I've written in mind. Otherwise, thank you so much again and I hope to work with you soon!
Thank you so much for all of this wonderful feedback! I will do my best to tweak my delivery to be more in line with what you're looking for, and resubmit before the end of the day. I hope to work with you soon as well!
