One of the members of the antagonistic group the Ascendants. He is the right hand man of the leader Luna and is always the one going out recruiting more people into the Ascension Network. He can be very theatrical and over the top as an antagonist, so it’s hard to tell whether his words are true or false.

Very expressive male voice. Very theatrical and playful to a point of near arrogance. He sounds like he always has a smile on his face — on the brink of a laughter — that it’s hard to tell if what he says is true or not. I’m looking for something more towards the ENG dub of Roland, but I am also very open to interpretation.

  • (Dramatic, playful) Wonder what my wish is? The end of the world, the ravages of the Punishing Virus, the suffering of all living souls on Earth... How do you like my answer? Is it in line with your perception of me?

  • (thoughtful, almost spiteful, and half playing into) Loyalty. What a good word! Stop thinking and follow the orders of others, letting them decide on what to do. Feels so easy. Oh? Don't give me that look! I was just missing a former "friend" of mine.

  • (trying to be sincere): To have a reason to live is a dream that hasn't changed for me. A play, the AscNet, they were the reasons others gave me. But now you ask me to give myself a reason? This is such a cruel thing... an honor for a jester.

I am so glad that you had resubmitted because the difference between your original and these new takes is a HUGE improvement, and it was amazing to listen to!

For your Commandant, I can't recall at the top of my head if I've already said this before, but I'm really impressed by your ability to switch between both male and female, as well as androgynous voice, and for each one you did a good job in doing different takes, and in particular, I really enjoyed how you performed the second line in your female voice towards the end. The way you stressed "you're" for "what you're thinking" was a good way to really stress that you care about the person right before you, and you already have a lot of power in your voice for the more commanding lines.

Your Chrome was also really well done and I'm so happy that you did the softer take because I feel with this audition you have a better hold of Chrome as a character! I was particularly fond of your pleading lines because in your first take, I heard a slight waver in your voice as you pleaded with Kamui and that showed more of the worry that Chrome was feeling in this moment -- something that I feel is very in line with Chrome's feelings. And I LOVE how nervous you made Chrome sound in your final line's first take. And in the final line's second take you do a little sigh to signify more of that exhausted leader Chrome is. It was a much better take.

As for your Roland, you did an amazing job with reeling back in the dramatics and I think you hit the right spot for how Roland's character is. I already praised how well you did with the sincere line, but the way you balance between the casual playfulness and that sincere line made me really adore this second take for Roland. The adlibbing you do with the second take of the first line already had me when you chose to do the "oh and um...". That was a nice choice in your delivery next to adding your laughter in there. What really got me was how you did the second line's first take, using more singsong voice to say what you're thinking -- or the marching as you write in your description. This was a really interesting take, and it caught my attention. It was nice to hear you play around with that, and I had to commend you for doing that.

Amazing job with these. While casting won't be done until past the deadline, I hope for a chance to work together and to see you pursue further voice acting work! I can see that you have a lot of potential, so I hope that I can get a chance to see! Thank you for your time and effort in the project and hope to be in contact soon!
