Remember, "taken from us" means "killed horribly" and Regdar was a very close friend of yours. Try again remembering those two points. Although your accent wasn't what I imagined, I think it would work well here. Just concentrate on getting the emotion. Remember, when you're recording don't think, "I hope this sounds sad enough. Is this the correct amount of quiver?" When you're recording, think, "Regdar was drunk when he died, and I was the one who gave him the ale. I didn't shave this morning, because I couldn't look myself in the mirror."
