Marcus Stevens was still a teenager when humans and turians waged in war. He learned all about its horrors and still found it unfair for humanity to be denied of a seat on the council for so long. He joined the military as soon as he turned 18 and worked with the Alliance until he was almost forty. He decided to pursue politics and spent nearly seven years trying to convince his superiors that humanity could explore new territories. That dream finally came true.
