Gwenevere is a loving wife who's empathetic to those around her, and often saves the day with her clever "outside the box" thinking. As one of the main characters, she needs to be down to earth and relatable to help the reader see the world through her eyes.

IN MY HEAD: I imagine Sarah Alexander's character Susan Walker from the TV show Coupling

  • You are honour bound! You gave me your word that I should join you for
our first quest, and you have broken it! (Angry)

  • I shall not delay you too long. I swear by all the gods, you shall not regret my presence. (Over-the-top gratitude for letting her tag along)

  • You were right. I should have drawn my sword. (Apologetic) [This is one of those well after the fact thought-out prepared-in-advance sincere apologies, not an off the cuff apology in the moment.]

Trouble is, you're pretending, not acting. I'll explain the difference. Suppose your character has just found out her husband has been cheating on her, and the line is "You bastard! How could you do this to me!?" If you are pretending, then as you say the line you're thinking, "I need to have the mic down so that I can throw my voice here. Maybe a bit of quiver would work, so it sounds like I'm on the verge of crying. Yes, and I think I'll have a nice long "s" in bastard. That may sell it. I hope the director likes it." If you're acting, you're doing the same thing, but in your head, you're thinking, "I have been married to this man, and he goes and fucks another woman!? Do I mean nothing to him? How did I not see this coming? I chose this man, and I could've chosen someone else. Why didn't I choose someone else?" So even though pretending and acting are the same thing on the outside, what goes through your head at the time determines which it is. Remember that, and try again, though acting this time, not pretending.

Jon, thank you. But, I was not really trying to "pretend" I was going for a Skyrim sort of feel with a nordic splash to it. I wanted to point out that in your original post, you made it seem that the project needed quotes. I am willing to do it for free since I am building my portfolio. I appreciate the feedback and honestly didn't get that from the lines you posted. If you will have me, I can resubmit an audition. I can see you are busy commenting, so whenever you get a chance, let me know if you are taking more submissions. I do not want to waste your time if you are not.

Go for it. And you're right. Some times I hear an accent I've never heard before and think that it sounds like bad acting, even though it's an actual person I'm actually talking to. I'll give you benefit of the doubt there. I'm not at all familiar with the voices of Skyrim, or the Nordic accent for that.
