Johnathan Amos Sturgess, born on April 18, 2011, in Chicago, IL, is a young filmmaker, director, voice actor, and creator known for his indie animated short series, Unstoppable: Evolution. The series follows three heroes—Max, Leo, and Sam—who team up with allies to stop villains like Gadgeteer Gus, Chaos, and Sparkle. Growing up in Chicago, Johnathan was influenced by his parents, sparking his passion for action-packed cartoons and superhero movies and significantly shaping his animation style. He draws inspiration from both contemporary shows and those he enjoyed during his childhood. Johnathan spent two years exploring different cultures and his own family roots to honor himself and others in his work. He aims to represent a diverse range of people in his projects. Through animation, film, voice performance, music, and digital media, Johnathan hopes to inspire others to embrace creativity, explore new possibilities, and discover the power of storytelling.
