Cast and Crew Needed for Azumanga Daioh Fanmade Projects (Wave 15)
Cloudy for Guest Sound Designers
Here's where you audition to be a guest sound designer. Sometimes over at Melody Makers (my music and audio team), we would bring in some guests outside our talent pool or the studio to have their part, but I digress. Sound designers create and manipulate to enhance the storytelling, mood, and atmosphere of a multimedia project. Sound designers use a combination of recorded sounds, synthesized sounds, and effects to create unique and immersive auditory experiences. Sound design can involve creating sound effects, designing ambient sounds, composing music, and more. To audition, here's a list of important sounds that I want you to create for Azumanga Daioh-related stuff (It's playful sound design mixed with Japanese anime):
1. Japanese School Bells
2. High School SFX (like crowds, gym buzzers, classroom tones, pools [In Japan, schools teach swimming during gym class], announcement chimes, etc.)
3. Cartoon SFX [Bells and Whistles, Musical Instruments, Percussion, Twangs, Doinks, Boinks, etc.]
4. Japan SFX [Like announcement chimes, the streets of Tokyo, cicadas, railroad chimes, 1970s Japanese police sirens, musical chimes [lots of them (Including elevators, airport PAs, etc.], and many more]
5. Anime SFX [Cutsey chimes, playful sounds inspired by Super Mario ands slice of life anime, and etc.]
6. Cat SFX
*Say something you think would fit*
Love the beats! Though this is more of a music piece, but I've seen some sound designers do music as part of the sound design. Do you have a demonstration of any SFX per se?
