Despite his slight arrogance on the surface, it is abundantly clear that he cares deeply for the people around him, making him easy to joke and banter with from the get-go. For this reason, he is good at making friends, and often makes the rooms more lively. Some inspirations for Quark include The Tenth Doctor.
