IN MY HEAD: I imagine Sarah Alexander's character Susan Walker from the TV show Coupling
You are honour bound! You gave me your word that I should join you for
our first quest, and you have broken it! (Angry)I shall not delay you too long. I swear by all the gods, you shall not regret my presence. (Over-the-top gratitude for letting her tag along)
You were right. I should have drawn my sword. (Apologetic) [This is one of those well after the fact thought-out prepared-in-advance sincere apologies, not an off the cuff apology in the moment.]
I'm willing to work for free on this role too! I'm sorry I didn't mention it earlier
I love it! Oh, so many good Gwenevere's but I can only pick one! The biggest thing holding you back in this audition is the reverb. Try recording again, but away from hard walls. Lots of professional YouTubers start out by recording in their wardrobe while it's still mostly full of clothes. Others literally put a quilt over their head and microphone. The super professionals get padding over the walls. I'd love to hear this again without reverb.
Do you mind if I wait until the 20th to re-record my audition? I can get it done earlier if I can figure out how to remove reverb with my software, but if I can't, I'm stuck in my empty dorm until the 20th with no good recording places.
Normally I would say no, but for you, because you were among the best, okay. You have my word as a director that I shall not choose Gwenevere until I have heard your next audition or the 21st, which ever comes first.
That said, where ever you keep your clothes, try there. Or record in the same place, but with whatever you sleep under over your head. If we have to repeat the blanket over head thing to get the lines out of you, so be it.
Hi, I was able to borrow a friend's closet and knock out the audition I just posted! I believe there is less reverb there, and I also took the liberty of cleaning up my diction and inflection quite a bit. Have a nice day!
