Pieter is a huge gaming nerd, and can put on a voice when he gets in character. I want the same actor to do both voices, but I want them to be so different that the audience wonders if I got someone else in.

I couldn't put my finger on why this is easily the best audition out of everything so far, but then I realised, it's the fastest. Yes, this is good. Even SLIGHTLY faster would be an improvement. However, you adjusted your microphone too sensitive. You're peaking. Too quiet is fixable, with quality loss below the capabilities of human hearing. Too loud murders the entire take. (Also, NEVER adjust your own volume to the microphone. If your microphone is so bad that it can't record loud sounds, just deliver your lines further away from it.)
I double checked on Adobe Audition. Yup, you were definitely peaking, but that's easy fixed. Just don't peak next time you record. (That's the only way you can fix peaking.)
