His parents died after he was born taking their own lives because they didn't have enough money to support a child. soul was found on the doorstep of Nord's apartment. Nord took him in and took care of him at the age of four. Soul doesn't know what happened to his family, but Nord knows because word got out of his family taking their own lives.
