Emrys is one of the few remaining survivors of the undead outbreak in Redstone City and is a member of a group of young survivors in the city calling themselves The Ignited. When the outbreak begin Emrys' family were one of the few that fell victim to the outbreak becoming either infected or killed except for his father. Together Emrys and his father survived for as long as they could in what remains of their home town until they had a run in with the group The Plunderers. These Bandits would rob Emrys and his father of all their supplies and when Emrys' father tried to fight back he was killed brutally by them. The Plunderers then left Emrys for dead, but Emrys was found by two other young survivors, Cardan and Bronwen. Together the three formed The Ignited as group of survivors who make it their mission to help other survivors in Redstone City. While Emrys is proud to be apart of such a noble cause, he still holds resentment and hatred for the Plunderers and the one who killed his father and will take any chance he can to exact revenge. Emrys is a calm, intelligent and loyal person. However he will often cling onto his strong moral code, (which includes integrity, selflessness + self-respect.) Having him cling onto his moral code results in a few issues within the story.
