Ikol, also known beforehand as simply "The Voice" from the Amulet, is the primary antagonist in Amulet. An otherworldly creature, Ikol speaks through numerous amulets to numerous characters and his presence is felt through the entire series. He is enigmatic and stoic; with an otherwordly voice to accompany him. To come like whispers in your ears; eagerly trying to get you to fall into the trap of embracing the power of the amulet.
What we are looking for with Ikol:
We are looking for someone that can walk the line between friendly and creepy; a voice that is quiet and hushed in tones but also inviting and warm. To entrust and feel familiar towards and want that certain warmth all the while still being enigmatic and mysterious. Ikol will be a closely chosen role and bring numerous different takes and attempts with different voices would be an asset in auditions.
