Asriel is a literal kid. His voice must be childish, but with good belting power. Asriel’s featured number, “Give Up”, is among the most chaotic in the show, and requires constant switching of style, speed and pitch. Whoever is cast as DEATHGROWL FLOWEY will accompany Asriel during the number.

Hey! Sorry about the microphone weirdness. I don't usually belt so I having quite figured out the best microphone settings/setup/etc. Also, I'm pretty sure this isn't what you're looking for but I promised myself I'd try, so yeah, here it is... totally get it if it isn't what you want. Thanks!
You're a little off in your singing in some places from what I can tell, mostly when you transition to a higher note, and it makes it seem as if you are straining yourself. This is dangerous for your voice, and since Asriel has some pretty high notes, I don't think this role would be best for you to do. Thank you so much for auditioning though! And thank you for pushing through your doubts, even if it may not be what we're looking for, we are very happy to see all the excitement and tries everyone is doing (: -Moop
