INFORMATION
As the youngest of the Amara sisters, Aki is a sweet, happy-go-lucky girl who is constantly trying to look on the brighter side of situations, even if there doesn't seem to be one at all times. She doesn't like to let anything get her down even when her mind tries to get the best of her, usually relying on cartoons or her sketch book in order to get through it all. But one thing is always true about Aki and that's the amount of sympathy and empathy she has towards people, no matter what they're going through. Past being an excitable positive force, she's a very gentle and caring person, attempting to use her personality to make people smile as much as possible. 

VOICE
Aki is generally a medium range character, I would say that anything that would stay in that realm would be really good be it slightly lower or higher. She can fluctuate quite a bit with her timbre due to how emotional she can get, so that's why medium would probably be the best starting point for finding her voice. But, of course, if you feel like you can pull this character off in a different vocal range then go ahead and give it a shot!  


  • [calm] Tomorrow morning [beat] [panicked] OH GOD, TOMORROW MORNING! WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO? WHAT ARE WE GOING TO TAKE! TALIAH, COME HERE HELP ME PACK! Wait, NO DON’T GET UP STAY THERE I’LL DO IT ALL DON’T WORRY ABOUT IT!

  • [honest, heartfelt, without thinking] Nothing really helps that feeling. It never seems to go away, does it? But distractions are everything. If you’re distracted from the pain...from the emptiness, then I think it makes it better.

  • [scoffs] Am I hungry? Ha! I’m always hungry! I’ll eat when I’m not hungry! I’ll devour the world!!

I just wanted to say I know I didn't show as much enthusiasm as I did in my other one but I mainly focused on getting the voice deep enough! ( wanted to give you an example of my voice for her) is what i'm saying and I also wanted to speak clearer in this one also. Hope you enjoy!

    You sound so much better because you're obviously not nervous anymore, just applause on that. You're great so I don't think you have anything to be nervous about c: . Besides that, the emotion and everything is super spot on. You are 100x more understandable, you read through the lines so well and they sound completely natural. Especially the second line. You relayed it exactly as I had imagined. Just fantasssssstic job! You still sound a bit young for Aki, but that may just have to do with your own age (?) I don't know, but that's not a big big deal. At the very least, you're perfect for the younger version of Aki who shows up a bit in the show. Wonderful wonderful job.

      I'm a freshman in High School so that might have some effect on my voice plus my mic makes me sound like 10x younger honestly, but thank you for the amazing feedback!.

        Ohhh, girl I know that pain. Mics can be so decieving. You're super talented for your age though tbh. Keep at it! I definitely will keep you in mind for the other roles that come up! Oh and possibly give Elise a try, your voice is very close to what I imagined for her.
