Direct or produce new and original narratives, guiding voice actors, singers, and scriptwriters to achieve your creative vision. [This is not one role, but a studio you can join to audition for many directing/producing roles.]
- You must be determined to make your idea a reality. Often times, directors will have a boost of motivation to create their project at the start but will lose this drive halfway through. As a director/producer, it's highly important to be continuously motivated throughout the creation of a project. You must be available to answer questions, keep your actors and writers on task, and take on the demands of a project with full force, following through until the end.
- You must also be considerate, yet assertive in your directing. When running a project, you will need to be kind to the actors and writers if they are unable to turn lines or a script in on time, yet able to hold them accountable for it if this behavior goes on for too long. When keeping these two traits in balance, this will allow respect to be shared throughout your cast and crew.
- You will also have to be organized. This is especially important as YOU will be the one creating the Discord server where the project takes place. You will need to create channels like "submit lines here", "submit song here", or "submit script here" and regularly check in on your cast and crew to see how they are coming on lines, songs, or script writing. You will also need to set clear deadlines and organize a plan for when the script will be finalized and when lines/songs will be due.
- Most importantly, you will need to be reliable, dependable, and trustworthy. You must be responsive and carry your project through until the end.
