Merry and Mourn are two antagonistic figures in Nevermore, being the deans of the academy. They both are the ones in control over Nevermore Academy and are presumably the ones that will decide who is going to get a new life.
Merry is the more laid-back of the two, he's more willing to take risks and enjoys the games they set up in the academy greatly. Meanwhile Mourn takes it far more seriously, more stuck in his ways. He prefers to stay in his comfort zone.
I imagine Merry's voice has a slight higher pitch than Mourn's, and Mourn would have a more deadpan way of speaking. As for accents, you can play around with them!

(Mourn, angered) ''Which one of you did it?!'' (Merry, intrigued) ''And how?!'' (Mourn, irritated) ''By cheating. How else?'' (Merry) ''Now, Mourn. Isn't that a little baseless? There were barely any rules to break!~''
