Embracing his newfound abilities, Creel became the Absorbing Man, a relentless foe with the ability to turn his body into steel, rock, or any substance he chooses. Over time, his criminal pursuits brought him into conflict with various superheroes, particularly Thor and the Hulk. Absorbing Man possesses a deep and authoritative voice, exuding a menacing undertone. His confident and slightly arrogant speech mirrors his unwavering belief in his unstoppable power. When angered, his tone grows guttural and threatening, intensifying the overall intimidation.
