Marin is a resident of Mabe Village located on Koholint Island. She is a musical girl who loves singing the "Ballad of the Wind Fish". She is kind towards Taylor and longs to discover what lies beyond Koholint Island.


NOTE: This role requires singing. As such, one of the audition lines is to sing "Ballad of the Wind Fish". You do not have to sing the full song, but it is highly encouraged so I can get a feel for your vocal range.

You were tossing and turning… [Taylor confuses you for someone named Zelda.] (Confused) What? Zelda? (Friendly laughter) No, my name’s Marin! You must still be feeling a little woozy. [Taylor asks if Koholint Island is close to Pittsburgh.] No…I’ve never heard of a place called Pittsburgh.

  • [You notice Taylor has an ocarina and invite her to play along.] Hey! That's a nice ocarina you have there! Will you accompany me as I sing?
