Cassandra has lived her life in constant defiance of the Briarwoods. She leaked information to the people of Whitestone for their first rebellion and since that failed, has kept a quiet motif. When she reunites with her brother they are both surprised at how much the other has changed, with Cassandra doing whatever it takes to survive.
