Laboratory scientists for a video game
Alec Shea for Nature Documentary Narrator
I am looking for a voice actor for an indie video game project. They will play the part of a nature documentary narrator. I am hoping to find someone for $100 per hour for about 2-3 hours work (around 2000 words). The narrator will mostly be describing the behaviour of carnivorous insects and I want it to feel quite dark. Here is an example of the sort of style I would like:

That is Andy Serkis (the voice of Golumn in Lord of the Rings) - he is probably a bit out of my price range! I love the way he uses his breath sometimes, almost whispering.
"Ants... They’re organized... Industrious... And hungry... But in the undergrowth, there’s no such thing as a free lunch"
"The crickets have had their fill of roots for the day, and are now on the hunt for protein rich invertebrates; this queen and her brood are in imminent danger of being devoured."
Sometimes the narrator will need to convey a game-play point quickly to the player, try to say this one with some urgency:
"The colony is starving, there is not enough food to feed the new brood"
Added my home grown Australian accent at the end as well in case that happens to fit the extended accents list. :)
I just wanted to say, this was really decent. I went with someone else in the end but thanks for taking the time,
Hey! Thanks so much! Very glad you liked it! Can't be perfect for everything, but I'm always really happy to hear when people like the audition nonetheless! I saw some posts around saying you might be looking for some other voices as well later on, so I'll be keeping my eye out for them as well :)
