Touko Mizuhara is the principal character of these scenes. She is a troubled high school girl with a difficult home life. She has grown increasingly attached to and dependent on her best friend, Toko Kuchiki, to the extent that she believes the two are the same soul in a cyclical state of reincarnation; when one dies they are reborn as the other.
Due to the events of the story thus far, Toko Kuchiki has entered a romantic relationship with another character. This greatly upsets Touko Mizuhara, and the fear of losing her own relationship with Toko is what ignites her downward spiral.
Role consists of internal narration along with some dialogue between herself and Toko Kuchiki.
