Fascinating by chance are you currently planning on going into acting as a whole or just voice acting?
Hello! Unfortunately no. I have experience in theater and might do it going into college. I'm not expecting anything serious out of it though and its mainly for fun. For voice acting and acting as a whole though, its all for fun but if I do get an opportunity to land a role or get 'scouted' out in some way, I'd gladly do so!
Ah yes. I definitely heard some strategies commonly used for auditioning just quite couldn't place what you have done from hearing alone.
that makes sense. I'm not quite sure what kind of strategies I may have used, but theater definitely helped me pretend that i am the character. It was also musical theater so it helped me understand how to use my voice in a more emotional way. Besides that i don't have much experience in voice acting to call out anything that i did that may be a strategy for some VA's.
There were actually multiple strategies that I recognized. Voice Acting like this site is just a tad bit different. In the theater you often times only audition for the one character and hope for the best or a callback. In Voice acting however it's recommended you audition for every character on a project so you have a higher chance to be on the project.
I see what you mean! I was considering on audition for some other characters that you have but I got a little scared haha. Maybe I'll audition for the other amazing characters you have here as well :D!
