Current plot line - he is being blackmailed by Elena and is pressured by the council to cover up their crime.
Abraham Montgomary is an elderly man, he is centuries old and is the Overseer of Serenity, which means he rules it and his words are final. He is a wise man however he knows his demise nears and will do anything delay this especially trying to kill the hero of the tale without getting blood on his own hands. He is the leader of the council of 5, however and the most polite and fairest of them all. He is kind hearted and even when forced into hindering progress by the council he also tries to help too.
He is in it for a long time and has the most monologues so far.
I have called you all here today regarding a deeply troubling matter. It appears that the hero of prophecy has arrived and we all know that means that each and everyone of us shall ultimately meet our demise. We have to come to some agreement that will not mean us to bloody our hands personally, in this instance I call upon the four of you to suggest possible solutions. I will listen to you all and then my idea shall be heard, we must then vote as to how this matter is dealt with.
