Smiles of Insanity (A Mario Fan Film)
idontevenknowmyaccent for Blumiere
Blumiere is a kind, happy man who is very much grateful for all the things he is fortunate enough to have in life. He is very much a classy, polite, old-fashioned gentleman. He was once a villain who called himself Count Bleck, working towards the destruction of everything, but he recovered from the brink of insanity when he reunited with his long-lost love, whom he believed had been murdered. Up to this point, he was content living with his wife in a small cottage within an isolated world of hills and forests. He is very fond of his old minions and still feels guilty for the things he tried to do before.
Blumiere is:
• a medium-sized role
• not required to swear
• definitely required to show romantic love
His voice should be deep-ish and suave yet humble; has a mild French accent (not exaggerated, so no Broque Monsieur, please); he is generally calm and collected but gets understandably upset when touchy subjects are brought up. Feel free to include lines from his game appearance, which would be especially interesting if you were to choose Count Bleck lines. Don't forget to add in random noises like grunts and gasps and yelps (and maybe an evil "Bleh heh heh heh! BLECK!" if you feel like it).
Mario... Luigi... Thank you so much for this. Even after all I've done –
[venomously] Do not refer to me by that name.
[incredulously] Happy? HAPPY?! You attempted to destroy all worlds in existence!
Thanks for the audition! It seems like you got some of the lines mixed up, but that's not really a big deal at this stage. Do you think you could try with the accent? Other than that, nice work!
yeah I just noticed those errors lol that's aggravating. But I'm a bit confused in what you meant by "the accent" would you be so kind as to elaborate on that what kind of an accent do you have in mind
Ah, on the left and in the voice description I have him listed as mild French. Sorry if those weren't too obvious. :P
OH sorry I'll try and see what I can do.
All good!
