Benjamin Ducat has lived most of his life jumping around cities in the UK with his father. So when he finally got a chance to stay put in one place for work, he leaped at the chance. He's been staying and working at Northern Ness Lighthouse since he was 19, almost 15 years of his life. He loves it, and it's obvious in how he speaks of his home and in how often he speaks about wanting to keep the place upkept. His obsession with keeping the island nice is comparable to OCD. He is often jittery and excitable, easily startled and is known to jump from hobby to hobby. Following the crash, his personality does a 180, he is quiet, easily angered and paranoid, soothed only by being near his partner.
