I’m a hobbyist VA who is often cast as adult women (sometimes butt-kickers, sometimes mothers, sometimes both), boys, and monsters, but I love a good challenge and wouldn’t mind playing outside of my usual type-casts.
I’m cool with all them pronouns.
My parents are first generation Filipino immigrants.
My regular recording spaces: a sound treated, carpeted closet and a portable, soundproof fabric booth; I also have closed back headphones and a second monitor in both regular spaces.
Microphones: I use a variety of XLR microphones, but I generally prefer a large diaphragm microphone over a shotgun microphone; I’d rather not disclose the specific microphones, because I don’t think what microphone you use is as important as the quality of the space you record in. If you need to know the mics, you can message me and I can let you know.
Softwares: Reaper, Audacity, Isotope RX Elements
I have been fond of VAs since I was younger (like, growing up, I knew Mark Hamill more as the voice actor for the Joker than as Luke Skywalker), but the short list of VAs I really respect and am inspired by are Kira Buckland, Fairouz Ai, Kayleigh McKee, Veronica Taylor, Laura Bailey, and Stephanie Sheh.
My interests outside of VA include doodling, watching movies and shows (horror and anime are my favorites), and playing way too many videogames of the rpg variety (currently too many Pokemon games, Digimon: Time Stranger, Ni no Kuni, Bishoujo Senshi Another Story, and Miitopia).
My personal favorite Jojo part is Part 3, but I think Part 4 is the best written and I don’t think Araki has written a bad part.
