  • The main trio run into Lyla, who towers over both Cade and Zenith. She has a sort of condescending tone even though she has a smile plastered on. "Well, woulda look at that? It's my favorite lil' newbies: Miss Sassy and Mister Grump." She then glimpses at Polina, her tone shifting to reluctant acknowledgment. "Oh. And you too."

  • Polina is baring her fangs, an instinct to shield Cade and Zenith overtaking her. Lyla finds this amusing, but feigns innocence. "Gosh, Polina. You act like I wanna gobble them up like they're two lil' piggies Would that make me the big bad wolf..?"

  • Lyla is faced with her demons, yet trying to deny it. She wants a reason to hate herself. "No, no! You.. you can't just sweep it under the rug! Hate me, loathe me, strangle me! Because if you don't hate me... how can I hate myself?"
