Hogan is a professional wrestler who gains notoriety for challenging and boasting about defeating anyone in the ring. Peter Parker, still experimenting with his superpowers, takes on the challenge of facing Crusher Hogan in a wrestling match. Donning a homemade costume, Parker challenges the wrestler as the 'Masked Marvel' and defeats Hogan in a spectacular display of agility and strength. The victory propels Peter's newly birthed "Spider-Man" persona into the public eye, leading to his career as a performance act and soon-to-be superhero. This, however, sends Hogan's wrestling career on a downward spiral. Crusher's voice has a deep and booming quality, fitting for a professional wrestler.
