For the part of Golden Age Superman, I wanted a performance similar to Bud Collyer (The Actor who voiced Superman in the Radio, Fleischer/Famous Studios Animation, and Filmation Tv Series) or do a heroic (somewhat hammy, fitting the tone of the comic at the time) man of the 1940's.
