A VERY Different Take on Metallo during the silver age. Before the known John Corben Metallo, there was a helpful friendly Metallo made by the scientist from planet Krypton to protect and serve all Kryptonians.  Superboy encountered him during his adventures into Space.

Give him a Stern, calm, semi-friendly voice that is to be expected from a highly advanced machine from an highly evolved alien planet like Krypton.

  • (Warns a Stranger while threatening him with a boulder) I Must ask you to go. If you do not leave willingly, I will force you to! I do not desire to hurt you, but you leave me no choice!

  • Most certainly I am! The Scientist of Krypton used this asteroid for secret experiments--and they made me Metallo, to guard it against all strangers!

  • Please, Superboy--permit me to serve you. I have longed for the day when I might see another Kryptonian. Now that it has come, let me help you.
